You are gifted!

This past week in my Bible study {with some really great girls!} we were on our fourth week of reading Ephesians so we discussed Ephesians 4.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Eph 4:11-12

Now, we may not all be prophets or international evangelists, but how wonderful it is that each Christ follower has special gifts given to them to fulfill Kingdom work! Thanks to Emily for sending out the test so we could all see what our gifts were!  I had taken it before but not remembered how I came out so I took it again.

My top 3 Spiritual gifts are:

1. Exhortation{21} { The capacity to inspire, to motivate, and to encourage others in their spiritual formation and personal ministry}

2. Faith{18} {The Spirit provides Christians with extraordinary confidence in God’s promises, power, and presence so that they can take heroic stands for their future of God’s work in the church}

3. Helps/Service{16} {The ability and overwhelming desire to aid persons in need. The ability to perform the most basic acts of kindness as a means to glorify God and to embody the Gospel}

3. Evangelism{16} {The capacity to discern when and how the Gospel message should be communicated to persons outside the Christian community}

I would encourage you to take the test and really think about the gifts you have been gifted. How they are uniquely formed to you and in what ways you can use/are using your gifts to gift others for the Glory of God! Go ahead, unwrap your gifts!
